We never did find out what happened but this gal was involved

........they hauled it off!

Breaking from tradition, we had breakfast at Mel's Diner instead of Denny's

The place was packed but they did a great job of getting us in and out.

The food was good and the price was very reasonable

They are trying to decide if they can actually run that fast.

Fuel prices were kind of high here so we waited until we could get the cheap stuff in Shoshone for only $5.99 a gal.

Every year, Bad Water Basin is shrinking more and more



Hundreds of people each day make the one mile trek out there just so they can drag salt into their car's carpet.

Mike and I headed out today for Rockies Gold and decided to visit Kolob Canyon on the way to meet some friends in Cedar City, UT. It's a beautiful canyon....... .......when you get to see more than just a mile and a half of it. Unfortunately the road was completely washed out from recent rains. On arrival everyone started catching up with each other, or was that text messages? The next day we all headed up to Cedar Breaks. May 23 and leaving on my summer ride. Riding north on Hwy 60 and I see that the old building in Morristown has been turned into a bar and is now open. Ever since the heavy rains this past winter, Hwy 60 has been full of potholes. Today they have finally been repaired properly. I arrived at Sherm and Pat's this afternoon after a very warm ride of 100 degree temps plus It's been awhile since I have eaten at Rutherfords in Kingman and I was having a hankering for them. Sherm humored me while satisfying his own Hankering Most of these route 66 diners have been around for a long time. One of the members of Sherm's scooter club. May 24th. On my way to Death Valley I stopped to check out the stream flow in Burro Creek and snapped a picture of my bike and the bridge. Not sure if the dam that forms this little lake on Burro Creek is manmade or natural. Most or the year there is little or no water flowing out of the lake, but it is running pretty good today. Shortly after leaving the campground I almost hit a mile stone. A mile later, I did.
